There is no trial and nothing expires. A free listing sits at the bottom of the board and stays there for as long as it is useful.
Paying moves your listing higher, as high as the amount buys. The spot is yours until someone bids more than you did.
By the bid, highest first. When two listings have bid the same, the one people click more sits higher; if they are still level, the older listing wins. That is the whole rule. There is no algorithm deciding who deserves attention, and every listing shows its click count publicly so you can see what the position is actually worth.
Bids start at $2 and go up in whole dollars. You choose the amount; there is no package and no subscription. A boost elsewhere rents you a few days of attention. Here you hold a position until somebody outbids you for it.
No account, no password, no email address. Posting takes a link and nothing else. Add a phone number only if you want people to be able to call you.
